BURNEY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING PERTAINING TO ADOPTION OF A

FINAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Burney Fire Protection District (District), 37072 Main Street, Burney, California, the Board of Fire Commissioners will conduct a public hearing to consider adopting a Final Budget for FY 2024-2025.

This notice is given pursuant to Section 13893 of the Health and Safety Code, which requires that a District shall adopt annually, following noticed public hearings, a budget by June 30th. The Final Budget is available for inspection at the District office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

All affected agencies and interested parties may appear and testify at the public hearing. The hearing is officially set for 3:00 p.m., and will commence as soon thereafter as the business of the Board will allow. For information with respect to submitting written testimony, or for more information with respect to the Final Budget, contact the District Secretary’s office at the address and phone number listed below.
